CONGRATS to TWO BROTHERS PIZZA AND MEXICAN in Plymouth, MA

MAIN DINING ROOM PAINTED WALL MURAL AND PAINTED TABLES

MEN'S ROOM WALL MURALS.
TOMPE L'OEIL (trick of the eye)  In contrast to the main dining room where the greek key appears to be underneath the pealing plaster, here I wanted to create the illusion of  paper rolling off the wall.
LADIES ROOM WALL TEXTURE
raised plaster stencil with glaze gave these walls a rustic, feminine feel. Continuing the thematic relationship between colors and layers, I chose to divide the colors lower on the wall to create the look of a curtain.  Primary red accents were added to complete the room.

FAUX MARBLE  COUNTERTOP
This texture was created in layers to achieve the visual depth of marble. The countertop is trimmed in mahogany and coated with resin. This was the BEST FUN!!!
...and please say hi to Jimmy on your visit to Two Brothers Pizza.
Located in Plymouth, Ma, next to the Airport
and in Sandwich Ma, on Cotuit Rd.
BEST OF LUCK JIMMY!!!!
Last few weeks produced a few new pieces. This one (right) is similar to one I painted a year or so ago...the customer loved the original painting, but could not make the dimensions work in her room...So, I painted this one, Which not only incorporates her wall color, but fits perfectly in her room.

TABLES TABLES TABLES....

...these are the first two of 20 tables we will be painting for the OPTIMIST CAFE in Yarmouth.
This elegant, creatively decorated restaurant located on RT 6A offers a refreshing, out of the ordinary (for cape cod) atmosphere.
The owners wanted to reuse their existing tabletops, and wanted to eliminate the need for the cumbersome, hard to clean glass tops that previously covered the wood. The challenge was to come up with a durable surface and  a look that  would compliment the warm tones in the restaurant,
In an effort to add a bit of fun, I decided to use a variety textures that blend both metallic paints and earthtones. The sheen of the metallics catch the light giving the tables movement and life...Each table will be different, and most will include a quote
or saying thatwill hopefully inspire a smile.
